Grundfos Pumps India Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Grundfos holdings has set up a service and training centre in order to cater to the local Indian market, in keeping with its global policy of being close to customer. Currently, these facilities have been put up at a cost Rs 2 Crores in a rented warehouse, but it has bought land in Chennai to put up its own facility. The service centre has state of the art service equipment and test beds to ensure service is completed in a turnaround time of 24 hours or lesser . Pumps serviced at the service centre will be certified by Grundfos and will also carry a 3 month warranty. The training centre is fully equipped to hold hands-on training simultaneously for around 30 people and is designed to ensure that all users / distributors / sales engineers / service engineers / technicians as well as the company personnel are thoroughly trained, in the use, operation and maintenance of Grundfos pumps.
